Aside from an applicant’s qualifications and experience, they can be severely let down by their health – be it an existing problem or a foreseeable problem which may be exacerbated by their new job, possibly leading to a costly, time consuming employment tribunal.

Be it a physical or mental problem there are a great many conditions which can limit an employee’s productivity and which can foreseeably lead to problems in the future and in turn this can lead to sickness absence in the short and long term as well as a compensation payout for injury or dismissal.

Once you nominate the applicant and supply a job description we will do the rest. You will then receive a pre-employment assessment report which you can rely on and can be used if a latter dispute occurs. In some cases it may be that your applicant is not medically suited to the task which you had in mind. If you consider deploying them in a different role we will include this advice within our fee.

Remember that for many job roles a medical certificate is required – if not by the HSE then by your insurer. Use proven Occupational Health advisers who understand your business.

Our prices start at £70+ VAT for a standard Pre-Employment Medical at one of our regional assessment centres. Reports are delivered within 5 working days of assessment although we will contact you immediately if there is a cause for concern.
